Evaluate and disposition nonconforming materials in collaboration with the Quality Engineer. 

· Complete internal process and product audits, as scheduled. · Measure components/productsto verify conformance to specifications using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, part specific gages, etc. 

· Daily report of activities; delivery of replacement parts tocustomer plants and perform incoming inspection, as required. Record and retain supplier issues in the company’s quality system, initiating supplier returns as required. 

· Perform other required testing procedures. 

· Support the comprehensive continuous (CI) improvement philosophy for all YFAI disciplines. Participate in CI activities (e.g., process, nonconforming material, separating and recycling of nonconforming material) and activities designed to reduce the cost ofpoor quality (i.e. Kaizen, cross-functional task force teams, etc.).

 · Containment andsorting activities, as applicable. 

· Communicate quality-related information to Production Supervisors, Materials personnel, Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, andManagers. 

· All other duties assigned.  Quality System: Understand, apply and meetall function-related Quality requirements.

 · Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS):Understand, apply and meet all function related EHS requirements.

 · Product Safety: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements. 

· Compliance: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Compliance requirements. 

· Information Security: Understand, apply and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements.

 · Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

 · Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime asneeded or assigned to complete job duties on time. 

· Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.

 · Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment. 

High School Graduate or Equivalent Area of Study: General Studies *Equivalent work experience may alsobe considered for certain positions.
