Training provides a comprehensive foundation (Monday-Friday, 7:30AM to 3:30PM). Closes out batches from the QC Lab through SAP computer system, and updates Pass/Fail statusReleases or corrects incoming lots from production in a timely mannerMaintains and updates product folders within the QC LabProcesses color corrections and assists QA Techs as necessaryBuilds samples, including mixing them, when needed to assist in Color MatchingWorks on special projects assign by supervisorMaintains and calibrates laboratory equipment per established proceduresProvides expertise and direction to QA Techs for effective execution of processes and proceduresKeeps in communication with sales on needed Color matchesEnters tars and processes TARS with customer due date in mindRuns samples as needed by CustomersCompletes and maintains all required system inputs/transactions. Responsible for data integrityDocuments work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc.Participates in training, retraining and continual improvement processes and methodsFollows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standardsOther duties as assigned

Education and Experience

3-5 years related experience and or/ training; or equivalent combination of education and experiencePrior experience with color adjustments, formulating, sample generation and/or color knowledge is preferredPrior experience working in Laboratory environment is preferredUS High School diploma, GED equivalency or relevant experienceAdherence to health and safety regulations (i.e. constant use of protective gear)Flexibility in shifts is a plus

Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 60 pounds Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $21.00 - $21.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
