Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies. Each day, you will support activities related to quality management within the organizational unit. This role is contributing to the Electrification Installation Products Northeast Distribution Center. You will be mainly accountable for: Reporting quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages.

Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have 2 months of experience in Quality Assurance You are at ease communicating in English You hold current United States VISA/work permitHigh School diploma or equivalent and minimum 2 year experience in a distribution environment, preferably in continuous improvement, quality, or inventory controlAnalytical and research skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office programs Excel and WordKnowledge of TOPS and MARC systems. BMH and KBM system knowledge a plusAbility to safely operate powered equipment such as order picker, reach truck, forklift, and pallet jackAbility to lift up to 40 pounds frequentlyEffective written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situationsDetailed and team orientedFlexible to work different shift if necessary and overtime with little or no noticeAbility to work a flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to stand or sit for long periods of timeExposure to distribution center conditions, which may include loud noises, variable temperatures, and dusty environmentCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
