You will be responsible for manufacturing in-process inspections and receiving (incoming) material inspections in accordance with drawing, manufacturing order, and purchase order requirements. You must have experience and demonstrate proficiency using calibrated measuring and test equipment. You should have experience with inspection and handling of electronic equipment and manufacturing methods. Good written, verbal communication and computer skills are needed for this role.
ResponsibilitiesInspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.Use various measuring devices and testing equipment.Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists.Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.Perform line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.Essential SkillsExperience in inspection and handling of electronic equipment and manufacturing methods.Proficiency in using calibrated measuring and test equipment.Good written and verbal communication skills.Good computer skills.Experience with standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and gauge pins.Experience with CMM, calipers, visual inspection, non-conforming quality control, and quality checks.Ability to work from blueprints and diagrams.2 years of experience in quality inspection or related field.
