**Industry leading manufacturing company URGENTLY hiring a Quality Technician!!** **Apply today and a recruiter will reach out to you with more information!** Located in Poughkeepsie, NY Pay: $21-$22 an hour Shift: 11am-7pm Monday-Friday **Job Description** + Inspect equipment and products. + Maintain accurate logs and required documentation. + Test materials and products. + Adhere to all safety and sanitation rules. + Perform miscellaneous duties as required. + Report any potential contamination and suspicious activity immediately. + Initiate corrections of food safety and quality problems. + Monitor and perform HACCP checks as specified in HACCP plans, documenting all checks and corrective actions. + Calibrate scales, pH meters, thermometers, etc. + Evaluate and test products on dry and wet mix lines. + Deliver raw materials or mixes to the lab. + Test in-process wet mix batches for various parameters such as flow, brix, color, viscosity, and pH. + Test in-process dry mix batches for appearance, flavor, viscosity, pH, and weight before and after fry/bake. + Bake/fry items according to schedule. + Perform in-process line audits to ensure product meets specifications. + Conduct various audits including First Pass, GMP, Code Verification, Metal Detection, etc. + Collect and test samples from the warehouse to ensure product meets specifications. + Send samples out for microbiological analysis. + Receive bulk raw materials such as syrups, flour, and sugar. **APPLY TODAY!!** **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
