**Job Title: Quality Technician**
**Job Description**
The Quality Technician will work closely with Quality Engineers and quality inspectors in the lab. They will be responsible for products from specific customers, ensuring quality throughout the process. The Quality Engineer will proof out the process, while the Quality Technician performs in-process inspections from machinists and investigates non-conformant parts through the manufacturing process. This role involves coaching and communicating with machinists, deburrers, engineers, and occasionally the end client. A strong understanding of client prints is essential, particularly for those with experience in the medical or aerospace industries.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform in-process inspections from machinists.
+ Investigate non-conformant parts through the manufacturing process.
+ Coach and communicate with machinists, deburrers, engineers, and end clients.
+ Ensure quality of products from specific customers throughout the entire process.
+ Utilize hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges for inspections.
**Essential Skills**
+ Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T from a precision manufacturing environment.
+ Minimum of 3 years' experience with quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
+ 3 years' experience working with precision machining.
+ 3 years' experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
+ Excellent communication skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ ISO 9001 experience.
+ ASQ certification preferred.
+ CMM experience preferred.
+ ERP experience preferred.
