Hire Resolve is looking for a dedicated Quality Technician to join our client in Port Elizabeth. This role is essential in ensuring that their products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
The Quality Technician will conduct thorough testing and inspection processes, work with production and engineering teams, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality assurance.
Responsibilities Operate CNC Milling machines and Wire cutters to manufacture components Develop prototypes, verify tests/trials, and manufacture tools to required specifications Solve problems and suggest solutions to machining issues Perform other assigned reasonable duties Maximize machine utilization and minimize downtime Optimize CNC programs to reduce cycle times and improve productivity Identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and productivity Quickly identify and resolve technical issues with CNC machines and programs Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, and maintain a clean and organized workspaceRequirements:
Minimum qualification: N3 accompanied by Matric Cert In-depth Knowledge of CNC Machines Proficient in Microsoft Office Knowledge of Technical Drawing Software Packages (e.g., Mastercam, Viscam, AutoCAD) In-depth Knowledge of Grinders, Lathes, & Milling Machines Experience with Fanuc Controls (for milling machines) Mastercam Experience (Minimum of 3 years) Minimum of 3 Years’ Experience Operating CNC Milling Machines Ability to Use Basic Measuring Instruments (e.g., Vernier caliper, micrometer, dial indicator) Understanding and Ability to Read Engineering Drawings Basic Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Programming in G-Code & MastercamContact Hire Resolve today for your next career-changing move
