This position requires a detail orientated individual with proven ability to use a wide variety of measurement tools well. The Quality Lab Technician will examine externally supplied window components to ensure they meet Marvin specifications. This person must be comfortable with adjusting to rapidly changing priorities in order to meet assembly department material needs. The Quality Lab Technician will work in the Bldg. 6 Quality Lab area.
Highlights of your role Inspect externally supplied materials per an inspection plan using approved inspection methods.Assist in Initial Sample Inspection Requests (ISIR) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions.Maintain required inspection records using Excel, Minitab, Sharepoint, and ICIM.
Maintain clean and high functioning Quality Lab work area.
Assist the Quality Department with various department initiatives.
Shift: 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) Ability to use measuring, inspection and test equipment.Ability to read and understand prints and written specifications.Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a well-organized manner.Ability to communicate, oral and written, as well as read and follow instructions.Ability to learn and use company software applications.Self-motivated and demonstration of a reliable work ethic. Also want to make sure you have Two-year Associate degree preferred, but not required.Two years manufacturing experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
