Job Title: Quality Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician for a 2nd shift position. The Quality Technician will be responsible for testing ingredients to ensure they meet specifications and are safe for consumption. This role involves laboratory testing, environmental swabbing, and quality documentation. Responsibilities + Conduct laboratory testing including water activity, protein swabs, pH, and viscosity measurements. + Perform environmental swabbing to test for allergens, molds, and other environmental hazards. + Ensure that sanitation, batch records, and product release records are accurately completed and filed. Essential Skills + Basic knowledge of chemistry and biology. + Attention to detail and accuracy in laboratory testing and documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma required. + No prior lab experience necessary. + Eagerness to enter the science field and a willingness to learn. Work Environment The work environment consists of spending half of the shift in the lab testing products and the other half retrieving samples and performing line checks. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, with Saturdays on an on-call basis.
