Raw Material Handling: Carefully handle and dispense pre-weighed raw materials (5-45 lbs) into blend and pre-mix tanks, ensuring precise quantities for each batch.Bag Handling: Efficiently lift and dispense 50-55 lb bags of powdered raw materials into blend tanks, following established scientific procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.Drum Movement: Safely move large 55-gallon drums, weighing between 100-700 lbs, using a drum dolly, while ensuring the integrity of materials is maintained.Quality Control: Conduct regular checks and measurements to maintain the required specifications for each batch, ensuring consistency in every phase of the production process.Safety and Compliance: Follow strict safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment when handling chemicals and raw materials.What We’re Looking For:
Education: High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not required; additional coursework in chemistry or related fields is a plus).Skills & Qualifications:Strong Math and Analytical Skills: Ability to perform precise calculations for material measurements and chemical formulations.Hands-On Experience with Chemicals: Prior experience in a manufacturing or scientific production environment is an advantage.Clear Scientific Communication: Ability to convey technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing, to maintain team coordination and efficiency.Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and consistency to ensure the proper handling, mixing, and testing of materials.Physical Requirements:Heavy Lifting: Comfortable lifting up to 55 lbs regularly and safely handling large containers of materials.Active Work: Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, lifting, and standing, while maintaining focus on scientific precision.Safety Compliance: Willingness to wear necessary protective equipment such as respirators and chemical-resistant clothing when required, ensuring a safe, low-risk environment.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
