Quality Technician
**Quality Technician III** The Quality Technician III is responsible for working with Quality, Operations and Maintenance to perform the validation and verification activities on shift as well as ensure the utilization of the Food Safety Management System as indicated. **Shift & Schedule:** The schedule for this position works **3rd shift 8:45pm - 5:15am.** Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, overtime, and holidays is required based on business needs. **Position Responsibilities** + Performs duties with a safety-first approach + Perform line audits/review paperwork with excellent knowledge of all lines + Possess expert knowledge of all quality procedures and plant wide standards + Displays high degree of initiative and work ethic while working independently + Capable of directing and training junior level colleagues in a team atmosphere + Superior knowledge to handle any quality issue by making sound, competent decisions accounting for quality and financial significances + Qualified to communicate with Vendors + Access substandard batches and identify corrective action to be taken + Lead a VMS audit and QA portions of a plant trial + Better Process Control School certified + Complete Lean Six Sigma courses (Yellow, White, and Lean Belt) + Complete AIB Food Sanitation course + Complete HACCP/HARPC Training course/workshop + Expert in numerous testing procedures of raw materials, packaging, preparation, and finished products + Excellent understanding of company specifications and government regulatory requirements including FDA, GMPs, and HACCP/HARPC + Other duties as assigned by manager, supervisor, or lead **Total Rewards:** + Pay starting at $23.34 per hour.
