As a Quality Technician, you will perform inspections, address customer feedback, support corrective actions, and maintain quality systems to ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and the efficient management of materials and processes.
What We Offer: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Health benefits, including telehealth medical services Opportunity for advancement What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent required 3-5 years of experience in the Quality field preferred Experience using measurement tools such as calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and height gauges Strong self-starter with a working knowledge of quality systems and audit standards Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Proven time management, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities Detail-oriented, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities Strong customer service skills with the ability to motivate and engage the workforce Flexible and adaptable to change, applying knowledge effectively in a competitive business environment What You’ll Do as a Quality Technician: Perform in-line and off-line AQL inspections and testing for incoming, in-process, and finished goods parts Ensure all customer feedback is addressed on time, with root causes identified and corrective actions implemented Analyze customer feedback trends to drive continuous improvement efforts Participate in the corrective and preventive action process (CARs) Assist in processing qualification studies as needed Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the plant Train plant personnel in GIQ quality systems, including SOPs, work instructions, and forms Maintain and control documentation processes, both electronically and physically Prepare and document Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and Certificates of Conformance (COCs) as required Define and implement quality concepts and processes, including statistical basics and quality tools Interpret and analyze information and data to support decision-making Control and manage nonconforming materials Assist in addressing supplier issues, including managing Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) Ensure quality management system processes are established, implemented, and maintained Actively support quality activities, including addressing customer complaints, corrective actions, and audits Coordinate activities to maintain the plant’s calibration program Support the preparation of customer and laboratory samples Perform other essential duties as assigned
