Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
2+ years in quality/manufacturing field
Ability to read blueprints; GD&T knowledge beneficial
Proficiency with measurement tools and techniques
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Ability to interpret and apply ISO procedures and documentation
Experience using MS Office Applications
Preferred Skills:
AWS Certification as Certified Welding Inspector (optional)
Strong knowledge of charting and process control methods
Experience with precision measuring equipment like calipers, micrometers, etc.
Skilled in identifying root causes and developing recommendations for resolution
Responsibilities:
Lead problem-solving activities for product and manufacturing processes with support from Quality Engineer
Perform process validations, in-process inspections, analyze the quality of manufacturing processes/products
Support design, manufacturing, and quality engineering functions for data collection/analysis/product review/process capabilities
Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems objectives; train personnel on QMS standards
Conduct internal ISO standard audits; provide audit support as needed
Generate formal documented FAI reports for customer/internal use as required
Utilize appropriate measuring tools/equipment to verify dimensional/functional requirements
Communicate effectively across various departments (Operations, Supply Chain, etc.)
Lead/support activities maintaining calibration status of inspection/test/measurement equipment
Carry out other related duties as assigned
