Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

Responsible for efficient evaluation and diligent upkeep of required quality inspection documentation throughout manufacturing for a variety of parts. Must interpret blueprints and customer specifications and support necessary quality data organization. TWill work with production operators on jobs throughout the day to ensure parts remain in tolerance and are processed according to specifications. Familiarity with GD&T and Polyworks Metrology Inspection Software is essential. Additionally must maintain and improve in-process inspection reporting.

ResponsibilitiesEfficiently evaluate and maintain quality inspection documentation.Interpret blueprints and customer specifications.Organize necessary quality data.Work with production operators to ensure parts remain within tolerance and meet specifications.Utilize GD&T and Polyworks Metrology Inspection Software.Maintain and improve in-process inspection reporting.Essential SkillsExperience in inspection and quality control.Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, gages, height gauges, and other measuring devices.Familiarity with 3-D Scanners.Ability to perform quality inspection on large machined parts.Ability to interpret blueprints and conduct visual inspections.Mechanical knowledge and experience with quality checks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).Placement Type
