Description

Main Job Duties:

•\tModel high standards of conduct and leadership

•\tReview operations' build processes and provide constructive feedback as necessary

•\tIdentify overall individual technical performance and make recommendations for improvement

•\tEffectively communicate information regarding product, quality, and safety topics

•\tEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with various departments including Team Supervisors, Assemblers, Manufacturing Engineers, Engineering and Quality

•\tEnsure the product is made to Legrand standards and take appropriate action, if needed

•\tEnsure that employees are using the correct tools, parts, and information they need to be fully productive

•\tControl of non-conforming materials

•\tAssist with Parts Quality Report (PQR), gauge instructions, capability data and gauge R&R studies

•\tAdhere to all company policies, guidelines, and practices

•\tWork other shifts, as needed, and opportunities for field support

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

•\tWilling and able to work all shifts, as needed

•\tStrong communication and relationship building skills

•\tAbility to run reports, effectively present information and respond to questions

•\tAbility to learn Dispatch, Syteline, MQ1 and other systems

•\tAbility to use MS Outlook, Word, and Excel proficiently

•\tExposure to Quality Systems (AS9100, ISO9001) preferred

•\tAbility to learn how to read engineering drawings, BOMs and Travelers

•\tKnowledge of standard wiring practices, IPC training or electrical certification preferred

•\tMust be willing and able to wear mandatory personal protective equipment such as masks, safety glasses and hearing protection

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $50000.00

Once hired on by UEC, our contractors will have their health benefits which are exceptional (about $40/Pay premium for full coverage). Also, they offer bonuses. There is a $1,000 Christmas bonus and a 13% profit sharing bonus. Additionally once hired on, they get a $1 raise automatically.
