The Quality Technician role directly supports medical device product development from concept through commercialization. This position will work with a high-performance cross-functional engineering team to ensure safety, quality, and compliance of launched products while continuously improving their commercial value through end-of-life. This position will focus on hands-on testing and assisting in test development to satisfy product requirements.
ResponsibilitiesPerform quality assurance, quality control, and quality inspection tasks.Prepare engineering and test samples.Receive and inspect incoming raw materials.Record test results and compare them to acceptance criteria.Print and verify finished product labeling.Review and approve Product Lot Folders.Support equipment installation and qualification activities.Assist in the development of internal and supplier-based quality plans.Essential Skills1+ years of experience in medical device work history.Proficiency with micrometers, microscopes, and calipers.Strong documentation and organizational skills.Experience with quality check, visual inspection, and non-conforming product management.Knowledge of ISO standards and quality assurance standards.Ability to perform quality improvement tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in blueprint reading.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
