Quality Technician
Our client is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the quality team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of GD&T and experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Quality Technician** **Location: Waukesha, WI** **Pay Range: $20 - $25/hr** **What’s the Job?** + Facilitate and execute inspections by measuring and inspecting supplied materials to ensure conformance to drawing specifications. Support PPAP processes and accurately record and report findings. + Quickly and accurately complete failure analysis and cleanliness testing, including root cause analysis, valve/sub-assembly teardown, and product contamination studies using cleanliness equipment. + Ensure production equipment is calibrated and verified, maintaining calibration records and coordinating external calibration services as needed. + Support engineering studies and operations by performing GR&R, collecting inspection data, and writing purchase orders for gages, equipment, and supplies. + Provide timely customer service by addressing customer concerns, analyzing root causes, assisting with sorting and containment, and managing warranty returns. **What’s Needed?** + Associate Degree or equivalent military/formal training in engineering or quality, or equivalent education and experience. + Knowledge of geometric tolerancing/design and standard inspection metrology equipment. + Experience in hydraulics or similar manufacturing environments with ISO or IATF16949 quality programs. + Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills to handle multiple tasks effectively. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and willingness to travel internationally. **What’s in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with supportive colleagues. + Exposure to international travel and diverse customer-facing challenges. + Hands-on experience with advanced calibration, testing, and quality assurance tools. + Competitive compensation package and growth opportunities. + Contribution to an organization committed to quality and innovation.
