Responsibilities

Position Summary

The QA Technician maintains the SQC system, product gauges and communicates product concerns/ information with production teams. Support Forming Teams, PRP activities, Product Safety and ISO programs as needed.

Key Job Accountabilities:
Compliance Validation
Validates that all aspects of the operating system comply with the Fabri-Kal Management System and appropriate regulatory standards.

Continuous Improvement - Support
Assists forming teams, QE and other functional departments in the collection and analysis of data in support of process improvement initiatives.
Forming Team Support
Provides training, data and analysis as needed to support and improve forming team performance. Participates in End of Event activities. Assists in problem solving and developing corrective actions.
Set Up Preparation
Provides quality documentation, fixtures, and gages required for production. Ensures Infinity files are accurate and available.
Product Realization Process
Performs accurate and repeatable measurements of parts using defined test methods. Works with both plant and corporate personnel to ensure that the test setup and procedure will provide reliable and appropriate outcomes. Works with the Metrology Engineer to develop and build new test gauges and fixtures needed to accomplish testing objectives.
Creates and updates work Instructions and test procedures as needed. Trains line personnel in new measurement systems as needed.
