Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Quality Technician for the 1st shift. The hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, with an on-call status for Saturdays. Each team will have a designated Saturday each month, and if needed, the technician will come in for this shift. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for testing ingredients to ensure they are within specification and safe for consumption.

ResponsibilitiesConduct laboratory testing, including water activity, protein swabs, pH, and viscosity.Perform environmental swabbing to test for allergens, molds, and other environmental hazards.Maintain quality documentation by ensuring sanitation, batch records, and product release records are properly filled out and filed.Essential SkillsBasic understanding of chemistry and biologyHigh school diplomaEagerness to enter the science fieldAdditional Skills & QualificationsNo prior lab experience necessaryWillingness to learn and be trained in the quality processWork Environment

Half of the shift will be spent in the lab testing products, and the other half will involve retrieving samples and performing line checks. Our facility produces high-quality chocolate and other ingredients for well-known products. We are committed to training eager and motivated individuals in our quality process.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
