Quality Technician:

In this role, you shall support in maintaining the Quality & Safety and work on projects related to continuous improvement of the processes and systems with inspection and testing.

Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: 

Incoming Inspection of parts and components as per Rosemount parts Inspection plan and customer approved drawing  Implement processes to quarantine, review, and disposition nonconforming material Actively participating in Analyzing Root cause of the issue with the supplier  Verify enter company component part quality once floor returned and report on IBQ  External supplier part scrap Analysis to understand parts & process failure Support on inspection for Direct sourcing process  To facilitate customer inspections. To actively resolve customer complaints and take appropriate measures to prevent reoccurrences. To run calibration and maintenance of plant equipment and ensure continuous suitability for use. Actively participate in process improvement activities  Perform inhouse calibration verification of instruments using Master instrument as needed Perform preventive maintenance of all Inspection tools Performing Project inspection at Hub and at supplier site as per inspection plan Supporting CC team to close customer comments on inspection Actively participating in revising quality related procedures Updating E-metrology and equipment calibration process Selection of equipment calibration service provider and calibration requirements Managing product hold & NC. Testing and certification. Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervision To facilitate reporting of incidents, near misses, hazards, and observations and ensure timely closeout of actions. To advise and perform safety inspections in compliance with regulations and EHS management systems requirements.

 

Learning outcomes that will be expected of the intern(s) and how you will evaluate the success of the intern(s). In this role, Quality Technician can understand the overall Quality & Safety Management System, various standards like ISO 9001, ISO 45001 requirements and Quality Tools. Also, there is opportunity to learn/practice Power BI tool, SharePoint, and Dashboard for Quality & Safety Metrics.   Please elaborate on how you plan to deliver mentorship, coaching and regular opportunities to engage with your intern(s)? Help with time management; Frame feedback in a forthright and positive manner; Follow up on feedback.
 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Support multi-functional training activities in respective inspection areas. Participate in plant wide internal audit program as assigned. Assists supervision in various inspection assignments that may include specific inspection plan development and rotation of assignments based on business needs. Associate degree or diploma Graduate in a field of Mechanical or Instrumentation or Electrical or industrial.
