**Job Title: Quality Technician** **Job Description** As a Quality Technician, you will perform various product tests, including batch testing, taste tests on finished products, checking ingredients and recipes, logging results, and correcting any discrepancies. You will ensure that the products meet the quality specifications defined by customer targets. **Responsibilities** + Perform audits of products, including batch controls, component weights, and finished weights. + Collect samples of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products as required. + Communicate with key personnel within the organization regarding the status of ingredients and products. + Maintain contracts outside the organization for the specifications and requirements of raw materials. + Provide support to other quality assurance functions as needed. + Manage raw ingredients through inspections, prepare hold reports and hold tags. + Inform necessary personnel and/or departments to determine the disposition of items on hold. + Complete necessary daily duties such as entering daily production data into the computer, filing paperwork, and completing various reports. + Evaluate hazards and verify measures and procedures to achieve a safe work environment. **Essential Skills** + Quality control + Computer data entry + Quality testing + Audit + Supplier quality + Quality assurance **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in performing audits of products and batch controls. + Ability to communicate effectively with key personnel and maintain external contracts. + Proficiency in managing raw ingredients through inspections and preparing hold reports. + Competence in completing daily duties such as data entry, filing paperwork, and reporting. + Skills in evaluating hazards and verifying safety measures. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a pay increase if you go permanent, based on performance.
