Job Description

The quality technician is responsible for following procedures to ensure accurate and safe Good Manufacturing Practices are being followed according to USDA and FDA regulations. The quality technician is also responsible for ensuring product quality standards are being met.

This position requires attention to detail as well as organization skills as it involves a lot of paperwork.Responsible for finished product incubation and testing for product compliance in monthly audits.To notify management of any quality concerns throughout the plant. Ensuring all hold product is tagged with the appropriate information.Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret information. Ability to add, subtract and average data.Perform inspections across all stages of production.Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly.Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
