We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Quality Lab Tech to join our team and drive our quality management efforts forward.
Job Overview: As the Quality Tech, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing quality control processes, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across our operations. This role requires in-depth knowledge of ISO9001, ESD S20.20, AS9120, AS6081, and ISO17025 standards, as well as a hands-on approach to quality management. You’ll mentor and guide the quality team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure the highest standards of product and service quality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
•\tDevelop, implement, and monitor quality management systems (QMS) in compliance with ISO9001, ESD S20.20, AS9120, AS6081, and ISO17025 standards, as well as other relevant regulatory requirements.
•\tLead the quality control team, providing direction, training, and mentorship to ensure consistent application of quality practices.
•\tConduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for quality issues, collaborating closely with engineering, production, and procurement teams.
•\tDesign and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
•\tOversee quality audits, both internal and external, maintaining documentation and reporting for compliance and certification purposes.
•\tEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of quality management activities and drive continuous improvement.
•\tEngage with suppliers and customers to ensure quality requirements are met and resolve any quality-related concerns.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
