Job Description:

About the Role: 

The Quality Tech I role at the Carrollton location will test and inspect products at various stages of production processes and compile and evaluate analytical data to determine the reliability of products by performing the following duties.  You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:  

Performs quality testing of products including mixing, processing, packaging, and warehouse handling. 

Directs plant personnel in solving production problems, including formulation adjustments and changes. 

Evaluates organoleptic properties (taste) of products by tasting and smelling the products and visually evaluating color and appearance. 

Enters test results in QA database; performs routine inspections and conducts SSOP audits 

Performs assigned Sensory Evaluations/Shelf-Life Testing and assists with R&D runs & Sensory Program 

Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 3rd shift, which operates from 9:00p to 5:30a Monday through Friday. 

About You: 

You’ll fit right in if you have: 

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required, secondary education a plus 

1-3 years of QA experience 

SQF Practitioner & HACCP Certification preferred 

Work experience in food manufacturing is preferred
