As a Quality Technician, you will perform analysis on in-process and finished products and R&D samples to ensure specifications are met. You will make decisions on incoming raw materials and pre-shipment samples based on pre-established criteria. You will place defective product on hold following procedures and resolve and report defect issues and communicate testing results with us. As a quality Technician, you will report to the QA Supervisor and your hourly pay rate will be $24.05 with a shift differential of $0.50.
ESSENTIAL JOB Responsibilities:
Demonstrate behaviors to support our quality work processes to include, Document & track production variables, downtime, product samples, and to ensure the proper blending of raw materials by weight or automatic metering systems, follow and document time and temperature points in recipe specifications to meet the quality standards.Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).Conduct area auditDevelop One Point Lessons-OPL's, Training materials, and Standard Process Instructions-Review analytical test results and production parameters.Perform appropriate line control to assure compliance to standards.Inform team members of non-conforming results.Execute product hold procedure.Prepare and maintain analytical laboratory testing reagents and equipment.Maintain lab supply inventory.Investigate consumer and customer complaints.Perform sensory analysis of product.Conduct HACCP line verifications.Bake product.Perform foreign material investigations.Complete HACCP and quality deviations.QUALIFICATIONS:
High school or equivalent1 year of experience working in a production, manufacturing, food processing or packaging environmentProficiency in Infinity, SAP, or other production softwareESSENTIAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
