We are looking for Quality Testing Supervisor. This outstanding opportunity will be located at our manufacturing facility in Grand Prairie, TX. You will have a crucial role in leading our testing team, ensuring flawless execution, and promoting continuous improvement across multiple shifts and departments.

You'll make an impact by:

Lead a diverse group of over 20 team members in various departments and shifts, ensuring a safe and productive work environment in compliance with ISO requirements, while driving continuous improvement. Attending production meetings to ensure products are tested on schedule, coordinating overtime and weekend support for testing when necessary. Collaborating with departments to understand shipping targets, anticipating and resolving scheduling conflicts due to product complexity. Preparing for and supervising customer witness tests, ensuring their successful completion. Maintaining the breaker testing schedule in alignment with switchboard shipping and delivery targets, conducting daily meetings with the testing group to communicate management updates, discuss daily targets, and address team concerns. Verifying the status of materials, production bills of materials, and maintaining safety and test supplies. Conducting regular performance reviews with team members, setting expectations, and completing weekly timesheets. Identifying technical issues with supplier components, working with quality engineers to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Investigating warranty issues, deficiencies, and scrap data, collaborating with the testing group and quality engineers to implement corrective actions. Monitoring engineering changes and new product releases to ensure consistent product quality. Maintaining positive relationships with customers, engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory departments, including attending meetings and onsite visits as needed.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing processes and Siemens Low Voltage Switchgear/Switchboard products. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Proven experience using an ERP Software (SAP preferred) and Intermediate level of Microsoft Office (Excel and Power Point; pivot tables, charts creation) Ability to test and inspect electrical products; Proficiency in using various inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, XRF meters, custom fixtures, multimeters, Megger, digital equipment, and Hipot testers. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with employees, customers, and managers at all levels. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

UL 891, UL 1558, UL 67. NFPA70E Certified Knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
