Responsibilities:
- Supporting new projects for quantity surveying
- Providing reasoned advice on complex matters and escalating issues when necessary
- Assisting in RFP responses and preparing proposals
- Analyzing existing budgets
- Reviewing plans/drawings and preparing quantity estimates for various aspects like earthworks and structural drawings
- Providing monthly progress quantities and coordinating with the Operations team
- Preparing project quantity estimates from conceptual to design stages using experience and historical data
- Participating in industry benchmarking of project metrics
- Maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders for project success
- Delivering work outputs accurately and on time
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Blue Beam
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Well-organized, proactive, and disciplined approach to work
Requirements:
Experience/Qualifications:
- Secondary degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or equivalent
- 3 or more years of technical experience in delivering complex projects
