Overview
Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, procurement, and risk assessment, ensuring projects are completed within budget and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for construction projects. Oversee procurement processes, including tender analysis and contract negotiations. Monitor project costs, cash flow, and financial forecasts. Ensure compliance with JBCC and NEC contract requirements. Manage variations, claims, and dispute resolutions effectively. Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and stakeholders to optimize cost efficiency. Conduct site inspections and assessments to validate cost accuracy. Requirements: BSc/BTech in Quantity Surveying. Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) with SACQSP. Minimum 10 years of experience in cost management for new builds, refurbishments, and engineering projects. Strong understanding of JBCC and NEC contract administration. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office. :
