Description:

Quantum Engineer -- The candidate will be responsible for designing and measuring an active, on-chip, superconducting circulator. Experience with microwave electromagnetic simulation, cryogenic microwave measurements in dilution refrigerators, and solid-state qubit readout is valuable.

Typical Day in the Role

Purpose of the Team: This team specifically works on the qubit readout for their first party quantum hardware.Key projects: This role will contribute to building a component in the in the measurement chain. The project will be building an active circulator with super-semi junctions.Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 20% meetings, 25% planning and coordination on the projects, 25% heads down individual work (design and stimulation, test and measurement, etc.), 30 % analysis and interpretation of results.
