Here at QuickSTAT, our Jamaica/Queens/New York site is looking for a new \r\nAir Logistics Healthcare Operational Care Specialist to join our \r\nAir Logistics team. Your Role Monitor and update shipment orders through QuickSTAT IT enterprise systems. Your Responsibilities Track and trace shipments thru alarm management and checkpoint verification at key milestones.Communicate effectively with QuickSTAT vendors (service partners and airlines / carriers to ensure that the needs of QuickSTAT customers are being satisfied consistently.To work collaboratively with Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs), Customer Service and the Commercial Business Development (BD) team to ensure maximum client satisfaction.To identify discrepancies and escalate issues to the Management and update clients in conjunction with Customer Service.To ensure all time and temperature requirements are maintained during transit.Shared responsibility for the overview of the department mailbox to include the receipt of new bookings and internal inquiries.Dealing with telephone inquiries from both internal and external departments accurately and efficiently.Keeping the Management Team advised of potential confirmed issues as they arise.Provide shipment-specific processing and timely communication of order updatesManage and monitor vendor network activities to compliance with QuickSTAT agent operating procedures.Work in a collaborative team environment with Customer Service and other departments that ensures maximum client satisfaction. Escalate all client issues to the management team as required.Ensure accuracy of shipment documentation and compliance with all country regulations as well as QuickSTAT quality management systems (ISO, GDP) that include standard operating procedures and policies.Identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service and productivityGood working knowledge of all Quick Enterprise Systems (QuickTrac, QuickOnline/RX and Quick Oasis), particularly:

First Class / QuickSTAT email program to include service partner or airline email / contact group information updates.To perform any department specific functions as defined by the department supervisor/manager with accuracy and timeliness.To undertake any other reasonable duties / responsibilities at the request of the management team.Ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresUnderstand and embrace the company mission by providing the highest quality global transportation and logistics services for our customersEnsure compliance with all required training certifications Your Skills and Experiences Comprehensive knowledge of temperature-controlled packaging and monitoring devices available to support the biopharmaceutical industryReliability and Dependability (primary)Computer proficiency (MS Office or related programs essential)Excellent phone, writing and time management skillsAbility to work successfully under pressureDecision-making abilityFlexibility- must be able to work off hour schedules (i.e. other than 9-5 Mon to Fri) as well as some holidays when requestedProblem analysis and problem-solvingTeamwork skills and strong self-motivation abilityGood numeric / financial abilityExcellent communication skillsPlanning and organizingSelf-motivated with demonstrated initiativeExcellent working understanding of world geography, time zones and world commerce regulationsAir Courier or Freight Industry backgroundSpecialization in Biopharm or cold chain transportationBackground in health care or Biopharmaceutical industryOperations background in related industries.Import / Export / Warehouse & TransportClinical Trial Logistics including temperature control packaging, shipping and/or regulatory requirementsGDP training and qualifications specific to transportationIATA Dangerous Goods by Air CertificationHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1 year of Desirable experience preferredIT / Computer literacy qualificationsMust demonstrate excellent written and oral English skillsFluency in second language desirable.
