Here at QuickSTAT, our Jamaica/Queens/New York is looking for a new Air Logistics Healthcare Operational Care Team Leader to join our Air Logistics team. **Your Role** Monitor Rush/Special/STAT shipments from pick up to deliveries. Provide routing and cost assistance to other departments and Quick offices as required. **Your Responsibilities** + Daily overview of the shared mailbox to ensure all emailed inquiries/bookings have been dealt with, in a timely manner. + The Warehouse Team lead is responsible for all employed staff + Maintaining the highest level of Quality & Compliance in conjunction with the QSTAT Quality Assurance Team. + Maintain & promote a professional manner amongst all staff, seeking at all time to implement and maintain company policy. + Ensure the Warehouse is adequately always resourced with the correct stock levels of packaging supplies. + Scheduling of required servicing & repairs for facility equipment (Fridge/ Freezers). + Ensure required facility logs are maintained as required (Forklift/ LN Tank). + Ensure the highest level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the facility at all times + Complete investigation and Non-Conformance assigned to you + Must respond to email’s on a timely manner + Must have daily walk-thru’s **Your Skills and Experiences** + Extensive understanding of the various temperature controlled packaging solutions & monitors available on the open market to forwarders. + Experience of handling time critical & temperature sensitive consignments. + Experience of working to strict deadlines. + Supervisory skills + Computer proficiency (MS Office or related programs essential) + Excellent time management skills & decision-making ability + Ability to work successfully under pressure + Flexibility- must be able to work off hour schedules (ie, other than 9-5 Mon to Fri) as well as some holidays when requested. + Problem analysis and problem-solving + Teamwork skills and strong self-motivation ability + Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills + Planning and organizing + Self motivated with demonstrated initiative + Excellent understanding of world geography and commerce + Air Courier or Freight Industry background + Customer Service in related industries. + Import / Export / Warehouse & Transport + Clinical Trial Logistics including temperature control packaging, shipping and/or regulatory requirements **Good Reasons to Join** At QuickSTAT we strive daily to inspire, empower, and deliver not only to our customers, but also to our colleagues. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
