Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to search for Quotations Specialist to work on a contract in Houston, TX
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the primary goal of the Quotations Specialist is to provide support to the Sales and Customer Service team by generating and following up on quotations to ensure Company is delivering world class customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage opportunities and create quotations in a timely manner daily Participate in the development, documentation, and implementation of company policies and departmental SOPs Communicate regularly with the sales team about opportunities, trends, quotation status, pricing, and other items Pull quotations reports, analyze information, and follow up on open quotations Convert quotations to sales orders Comply with company policies and procedures including health and safety policies, as applicable Provides meaningful feedback about quote log and other important issues to the Customer Service Supervisor Perform other related duties as assignedEducation and Certifications:
Post-secondary education is required Strong understanding of performance management principles, processes and the principles of high-performance leadership Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement Demonstrated professionalism Demonstrated effective leadership skills Demonstrated commitment to Company safety culture Able to remain positive and adapt to frequent change in the workplace, including delays and/or unexpected events Strong communication skills to engage, motivate and lead employees Strong decision making and problem-solving skills Business acumen to understand and interpret associated KPIs related to company and department performance Excellent interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills Detail orientated Demonstrates a high proficiency in using various applications, including MS Office, Salesforce, and SAP
