Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an HVAC Quotations Specialist in our Raleigh, NC, Nashville, TN, and/or Newport News, VA locations. In this role you will develop commercial/multi-family HVAC quotations in various markets throughout the country for our centralized Regional Quotations Center (RQC). This role is approved to be either Remote within the United States or Hybrid for associates in Raleigh, NC, Nashville, TN or Newport News, VA, in accordance with company policy. Characteristics of someone who will be successful in this role are: + Well Organized + Highly Motivated + Great Attention to Detail + Ability to work independently **Responsibilities:** + Develop commercial/multi-family HVAC quotations based on branch preferences, including manufacturers, profit margins, etc. with minimal input from others and autonomy to make estimation decisions. + Possess the ability to identify relevant materials to be quoted from mechanical plans and specs with minimal input from others and autonomy to make estimation decisions. + Maintain good customer and vendor relationships + Interact with vendors + Work within team setting to accomplish goals + Identify business critical issues quickly and collaborate with team members to resolve + Effectively use Ferguson’s vendor programs, to provide estimates using Ferguson friendly products, which we are aligned with corporately + Provide direction and guidance to less experienced team members + Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures **Qualifications:** + 2+ years' experience in quoting HVAC commercial/multi-family projects or similar experience + Possess a solid understanding of commercial HVAC products and be able to identify these items on plans and specs + Must be well organized, detail-oriented and have excellent time-management skills + Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate across all levels of the organization + Ability to lead and motivate individuals + Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (emphasis on Teams and Outlook) + Experienced in commercial HVAC projects, either via bid process or project management. + Strong understanding of Ferguson’s vendor programs + Flexibility and adaptability, as this position often requires multi-tasking + Self-motivated/goal oriented + Understanding of Bidtracer and Planswift applications is beneficial At Ferguson, we care for each other.
