**Overview** **GCG** is currently seeking a **Quoting Specialist** to join our Leominster engineering team! As our Quoting Specialist, you'll work with our customer service, engineering, and production teams to transform customer needs into cable assembly solutions, bridging the gap between customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities. You'll analyze technical documentation, determine production requirements, and address questions or inaccuracies in technical documentation provided by the customer. **This role offers a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) after training has concluded and our offices facility is located at 100 Jytek Dr. Leominster, Massachusetts.** **What you’ll do** + Review/confirm quote data + Interpret prints and specifications + Confirm quantities for linear products + Assist purchasing in identifying potentially alternate materials + Determine tooling need and availability + Identify test requirements and fixture needs + Note any exceptions/deviations to customer specifications + Maintain all applicable docs within a quote folder + Communicate directly with Customer technical contact as needed + Assist other departments as needed when current workload allows + Including but not limited to production related projects as assigned by the Director of Operations + Support the company’s Quality Policy + Support Corporate Safety initiatives as they apply to the Assembly Division **What you’ll bring** + Engineering degree or 3 years of experience in cable assembly, Manufacturing, or Engineering + Demonstrated knowledge of cable assembly process and product technologies preferred + Strong familiarity with cable assembly raw material suppliers preferred + Experience communicating with Customers and Suppliers + Demonstrated experience with MS-Office (MS Excel, MS Word) and MS-Windows + Experience using quoting software + Strong written and verbal communications + Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively + Strong attention to detail **What we offer** + Competitive annual salary + Robust and affordable benefits options, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability insurance, and more + 19 PTO days with 7 company paid holidays + 401K plan with employer contribution + Company paid - Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance + An employee-centric company that values and truly appreciates our most important asset: You! **About GCG** At GCG, our mission is to power, connect, and automate our world.
