R&D Senior Engineer

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the strategic technology direction by contributing your own ideas for identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative technology, software and solutions. Each day, you will assist the Research and Development (R&D) team by executing your assigned tasks and using technical knowledge in a structured way. You will also showcase your expertise by staying abreast of the state of the art and actively applying this knowledge.The work model for the role is: #Li - OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion Large Motors & Generators Division in Vadodara.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tResponsible for Electrical design deliverables (design and documentation) required for the development of new or enhanced products. •\tWork with senior and mid-level R&D (Research and Development) engineers to develop new products aligned with regional markets. •\tWorks as reliable contributor in R&D projects, performing assigned tasks under supervision. •\tUses technical knowhow in own area of competence to solve problems. •\tCollect, review, and analyze a variety of engineering data, documents, test, and reports. •\tUtilize design tools to create design and understand concept drawings (AutoCAD/solid works/NX).•\tInterpret regulatory standards and ensure designs meet standards.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or similar with 2-3 plus years of practical experience required.\tPreferred Experience: 2+ years of design or other engineering experience in high - & low-voltage motors,\tKnowledge of manufacturing processes and practical experience in understanding detailed part drawings, assembly drawings, and design for manufacturing,\tExperience with PLM software is a plus.\tProblem solver, adaptability, creativity, non-frustrated, flexible, analytical, team player.\tExcellent verbal and written skills.
