Job Title: R&D Chemical Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Lab Support Technician to join our team. This role involves providing essential lab support for the formulation and development of ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid), Gear, Off-Road, and MTF (Manual Transmission Fluid) chemistries. Additionally, the technician may assist our Customer Technical Service (CTS) team in addressing technical inquiries and challenges.

ResponsibilitiesAccurately measure and blend chemical components for ATF, Gear, Off-Road, and MTF formulations.Conduct and schedule a variety of analytical and bench tests to ensure the quality and performance of formulations.Maintain and calibrate critical lab equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with lab standards.Adhere to corporate safety protocols and ISO 9001 guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment.Essential SkillsBachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.At least one year of laboratory experience.Experience in fluid formulation.Strong attention to detail and precision in chemical measurements.Familiarity with laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration.Knowledge of safety standards and ISO 9001 guidelines.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma.Interpersonal and customer service skills.Ability to work at a fast pace with attention to detail as quality is imperative.Multi-task project management skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to safely lift 40 lbs. on a routine basis.Work Environment

The role is based in an R&D lab with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
