Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chemist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine and advanced testing, operating specialized equipment, and participating in investigation activities. This role requires hands-on experience with various analytical instruments and software, as well as the ability to develop and review laboratory procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and advanced testing or analysis within a specific group or department.Operate specialized equipment and perform specialized skill testing.Participate in investigation activities and identify discrepancies.Operate computer and analytical instrument software, including Empower, Mass Hunter, Chromeleon, Lab Solutions, and LIMS.Develop efficient and selective analytical procedures and draft/review laboratory SOPs.Support equipment validation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Initiate and investigate OOS/OOT results.Write and revise standard quality control operation procedures/SOPs.Collaborate effectively with team members in a highly dynamic, cross-disciplinary environment.Manage multiple tasks and projects to meet expected deadlines.Required Skills and Experience:
Hands-on experience with ICP-MS, ICP-OES, UV, HPLC, GC, IC, and Dissolution instruments.Proficiency in wet chemistry, UV-Vis, titration, gas chromatography, and GC-MS.Strong experience in analytical chemistry, quality control, or formulations.Familiarity with FDA regulations and method validation.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.Flexibility and commitment to multitask projects.Qualifications:
A degree in a life science-related field, preferably in chemistry.1-6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a preference for solid dose pharmaceutical experience. Candidates with strong nutraceutical experience will also be considered.Experience using HPLC in a pharmaceutical setting.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00
