Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Develop verification and test plans tied to product requirements, risks, and theory of operations Construct and troubleshoot new lasers, test systems and instrumentation Develop software testing methodologies, including supporting software. Implement workflows to specify, design, implement, qualify, and release new product software and new test packages. Design and built emulators and test scripts Provide system-wide coding support to enhance our products self-testing and other integrated functions.
Education & Experience
Ph.D. or Masters degree in a technical field such as electrical engineering, optical engineering, or applied physics, with a strong concentration of software development
Skills
Strong coding skills and familiarity with design patterns in LabView, Python and C# Experience with automated instrumentation, opto—electro-mechanical components and subsystems, laser measurement and alignment Experience with software unit testing and integration of technologies including OPC-UA, TCP/IP, and HTTP Experience integrating software and software testing into complex laser tools and production processes
