Lunaphore is now part of the Spatial Biology Division of Bio-Techne. Lunaphore provides solutions based on a groundbreaking chip technology that can extract spatial proteomic and transcriptomic data from tumors and other tissues, transforming any assay into multiplex spatial biology with an intuitive approach.
As a member of the R&D instrument team, you are responsible for designing, troubleshooting, and improving Lunaphore instruments:
+ Analyze, design, test, and implement design changes on instruments
+ Develop and optimize test procedures and test setups
+ Plan and execute experiments, conduct technical investigations in order to support product continuous improvements or new product development
+ Collect, analyze, and present data in a comprehensive and understandable manner
+ Participate in troubleshooting and repair of instruments and prototypes on a need basis
**Qualifications**
+ B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Microengineering, mechanical engineering or a closely related field
+ At least 2 years of industry experience
+ Experience in design and development of complex systems involving optics, fluidics, and pneumatics
+ Experience in computer assisted mechanical design, ideally Solidworks
+ Proficiency in oral and written English (C1) is a must, French is a plus
+ Quality-oriented mindset, attention to detail and good organizational skills
+ Critical thinking and analytical skills
+ Sense of responsibility and urgency, ready to comply with priorities
+ Dynamic, proactive and enthusiast individual, able to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced constantly changing environment, ready to accept new challenges
+ Team player, collaboration with colleagues from different teams, sharing information with peers and managers
+ Comfortable working independently
