Summary: Seeking an R&D Engineer with experience in sustaining engineering within a medically regulated industry to develop and test medical devices.
Requirements:
Prior experience as a sustaining engineer in a Class II or III medical device industry
Design verification and validation experience in the medical device industry
Exposure to failure mode analysis
Knowledge of statistical tools (e.g., Minitab)
Test method validation
Bachelor's degree in engineering required, Master's preferred
3+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills:
CAD experience
Good computer skills using MS Office Suite
Job Responsibilities:
Develop moderately complex experiments and tests, analyze results, make recommendations, and develop reports
Generate work instructions, test methods, engineering drawings/prototypes
Create/update portions of design control documents including requirement specs and risk documents
Assign R&D support tasks; instruct and train technicians; coordinate technician work
Identify, evaluate, manage, and provide guidance to suppliers
Pay: 35-43

Pay Details: $35.00 to $43.00 per hour
