R&D Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion business Drive Products division in Bangalore, India.You will be mainly accountable for:• Designing, Coding and setting up Development & Cloud environment, automation-based unit testing of software products based on the requirements.• Developing solutions and successfully taking on complex technical problems and higher responsibilities. • Demonstrating innovation in processes followed and/or solutions delivered and encouraged it within the team. • Setting up a continuous build environment to speed up software development and deployment process. • Maintaining software platforms by identifying and correcting defects. • Creating design documents, technical specifications, and test cases in line with quality systems. • Adhering to processes, defined software development methodologies and best practices within the team. • Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent. \t5 to 8 years of experience on advanced C#, .NET, .NET Core, Web API, XML, LINQ, Design Patterns. \tGood to have experience in cloud development, preferably Azure. \tStrong concepts & hands-on with JavaScript frameworks like ReactJs, Node.Js, Vue.Js with minimum 2-year experience on ReactJs. \tStrong concepts of Object-oriented Programming System (OOPS), TypeScript, HTML, CSS and Bootstrap. \tShould have worked with API based technology development, Micro Services architecture, Azure Mongo Atlas / Cosmos DB \tExperience in Azure DevOps continuous integration, configuration management. \tGood knowledge on using entity framework/ entity framework core. \tGood knowledge of SQL server and database scripting. \tExperience in Unit Testing, Xunit framework will be an added advantage
