Job Title: R&D Engineer Job Description The R&D Engineer will support all departments with design explanations and supporting documentation. They will ensure that the intent of the design is conveyed, and changes are scrutinized to ascertain successful change introductions. Responsibilities + Support all departments with design explanations and supporting documentation. + Ensure that the intent of the design is conveyed accurately. + Scrutinize changes to ensure successful change introductions. + Work on custom solutions for mechanical components for customers. + Develop new concepts and customizations on the current product line. Essential Skills + 2-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering + Experience in new product development + Proficiency in design tools, preferably Creo or SolidWorks + 3D modeling skills + Knowledge of quality standards + Understanding of material selection + Strong grasp of engineering principles Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with R&D work + Ability to develop custom solutions and new concepts Work Environment The work involves developing custom solutions and new concepts for mechanical components. The preferred design tool is Creo, but SolidWorks experience is also acceptable as it translates well. The role requires a strong understanding of quality standards, material selection, and engineering principles.
