Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to set up and execute routine tests for different products in accordance with standard testing methodologies and requirements. Each day, you will perform your tasks or activities using skills and techniques as well as a practical understanding of concepts used in the field of technology. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring proper documentation of the test results. The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification business Smart Power division in Hyderabad, India.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tHighly motivated self -driven engineers to support electronics hardware development related to electrical distribution and control products•\tEnsures planning and implementation of test plans by assigning the right priority and overseeing the resources allocated. Experienced on setting up high volt/current test set ups, knowledge on precautionary measures and HSE compliance•\tAnalyzes and evaluates test results and prepares test reports in partnership with design engineers, and quality team members•\tWork with design teams in the reliability evaluation and selection of components including passives, actives, and microcontrollers. Analyze reliability of components, subassemblies, and systems.•\tCoordinate with Sourcing/Facility and HSE to achieve timely completion of projects. A project will include coordination from planning stage to execution and installation of equipment in AIC Labs•\tPrepares, reviews, manages, and updates the required technical/support documents independently.
Qualifications for the role\tDiploma / B. Tech in ECE/EEE with 4+ years of hands-on experience in a reputed product development company\tSelf-starter, highly motivated and independent work skills; Understanding of product standards and regulatory agency requirements along with electronic manufacturing process knowledge.\tGood hands-on experience in supporting project teams on test setups – Environmental testing, EMI/EMC, product qualification, external lab/agency certification etc.\tExperience in the Electrical protection / controls domain. \tAdvantage having experience in LabVIEW.\tEnsures that prototypes are correctly assembled, tests are correctly performed and that activities are thoroughly reported for internal and external use\tEnsures that the testing equipment and tools are maintained and meet the testing requirements\tHands on experience on SMD soldering.
