Job Description
Support the company by helping to contribute to developing Innovative new Structural engineering solutions the company can bring to market and to help ensure existing solutions continue to meet the required technical rigor to stay competitive in their respective markets. Conduct simple research studies, code reviews, landscape analysis under supervision and contribute to idea development, prototyping and physical testing.Job Responsibilities & Requirements
What You Will Do:
Prepare test specimens.
Prepare test set ups, conduct tests and record required data and document work.
Operate and maintain shop equipment and test equipment.
Conduct feasibility studies and provide preliminary designs.
Generate reports using analysis and testing data.
Conduct technical research and prepare technical documentation. Effectively communicate technical findings to others, including co-workers, vendors, and customers.
Assist in preparation of technical documents and bulletins.
Create and/or modify production drawings of prototype products using AutoCAD or SolidWorks software.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering required
Up to 1 year of engineering experience preferred
Good written communications skills are required, adaptability, critical thinking, team collaboration
Ability to travel up to 5% of time to customer sites or other industry partners as needed
