Job Description
Role Overview: Develop and enhance products, materials, processes, or equipment for moderately complex projects. With limited supervision, compile, analyze, and report operational, test, and research data to establish performance standards for new or modified products, processes, and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Actively participate and contribute to project teams, including activities such as product design and development, material testing, specification preparation, process capability studies, research investigations (animal and clinical studies), report preparation, and process/test documentation.
2. Independently plan and schedule activities to meet project timelines.
3. Design and coordinate standard engineering tests and experiments.
4. Design, procure, and fabricate tooling and fixtures.
5. Troubleshoot new product/process issues related to design, material, or process.
6. Summarize, analyze, and draw conclusions from test results.
7. Prepare standard reports and documentation to communicate results to the technical community.
8. Maintain responsibility for engineering documentation.
9. Innovate and create concepts and designs for new products/processes, and submit idea disclosures.
10. Train and/or provide work direction to technicians as needed.
11. Collaborate with process development, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing teams to ensure project success.
12. Demonstrate knowledge of PDP/TPD systems through the delivery of high-quality deliverables.

R&D related experience
Testing experience
Troubleshooting knowledge
Knowledge of PDP/TPD systems Master's Degree
Medical Device background null
