The successful candidate will drive adoption of our sustainable Honeywell blowing agents, through building technical expertise, developing customer relationships, understanding unmet needs within the industry, and navigating the regulatory environment, with a focus on end-of-life considerations for foam and thermoplastic applications.  The candidate will work with global, cross-functional teams focused on research and development toward new opportunities for our blowing agent products and contribute polymer recycling and blowing agent recovery experience to internal expertise in the foam and thermoplastic areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

·       Provide recycling and recovery expertise to lead research in improving foam manufacturing sustainability and end-of-life outcomes for foam and thermoplastic applications

·       Identify technology opportunities in different foam applications and initiate projects for business growth by working closely with the commercial team

·       Contribute to development of foam innovation and breakthrough technology pipelines

·       Generate new technology and ideas leading to intellectual property including patents

·       Willingness to travel (10%) to accomplish these responsibilities

The annual base\nsalary range for this position is $106000.00-$133000.00. Please note that this salary\ninformation serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering 5+ years technical experience in polymer or foam recycling and/or gas-phase separation and recovery Formulating or technical experience in foam and/or thermoplastic industry
