Position Summary:

The R&D Engineering Intern will have an opportunity to network and build relationships within the Medical Device industry, while making a difference in a fast pace, nimble work environment by partnering senior leadership on department related projects. This role will have a real impact on our business and customers. You will work with cross functional teams to get a true understanding of what a “day in the life” of the role would be like.

Key Responsibilities:

Support engineers on customer projects including project documentation, tooling design and qualification, writing and executing characterization studies. Develop lab fixturing and test protocols for verification of medical devices.

Must Have:

In process 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering preferred. Ideal candidate will be at least a rising Junior. Good written communication skills for documenting designs and procedures Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications and illustrations Basic statistics knowledge Familiarity with SolidWorks/Pro-E/Creo is preferred

Position pays $20/hr
