R&D Finance Manager
Job Description Our client is sourcing for a skilled FP&A manager to join a high performing finance team. The Finance Manager will be the primary financial business partner for R&D to manage presentations, and functional global expenses. This resource will report to the director of Finance for ATA and be a key leader in the global budgeting and forecasting process within our annual plan, as well as month end reporting. This candidate will need to be analytically minded and comfortable with collaborating with senior executives. Additional responsibilities include: - Manage total $110M of Product Line Marketing + R&D op expenses activities on current performance versus plan, forecast and year over year. - Partner with R&D team to address resource needs and drive productivity. - Lead monthly and quarterly cost forecast, complete monthly accruals, deep-dive, issue resolutions. - Help R&D to see incoming risk and opportunities to achieve goals. - Support gate review financials to ensure the budget/forecast is well connected with project proposals. - Support the Business Unit Finance Directors during the month end and planning process throughout the year. Compensation: $60/hr to $70/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Skills and Requirements REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Proven track record of good partnership with senior management * Experience working in the telecommunications industry or similar field * Bachelor's degree, in Finance or Accounting, from an accredited university; or equivalent work experience * 5+ years of relevant work experience in finance including financial analysis, planning, and reporting experience. * Strong financial modelling skills/Integrated models development with high level of advanced excel knowledge - pivot tables, V-lookups, complex formulas. * Intermediate skills in PowerPoint and relational databases * Prior experience with month-end close process and group reporting * Sufficient controllership mindset and accounting skills * Quick leaner with passion to resolve issues Experience with BI tools null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
