Our client, a private company specializing in the processing, distribution, and marketing of frozen foods inspired by Asian cuisine, is seeking a Packaging Specialist (Food) to join their team in Montreal.
Responsibilities:
Manage improvement projects for current products and cost reduction initiatives within established timelines and parameters. Plan and organize production tests for new products in coordination with various departments. Assist in the development of new recipes and support the product development team. Facilitate the transfer of new products into production and ensure a thorough follow-up. Prepare documentation for production tests, initial productions, and sample shipments. Participate in the implementation of new equipment and continuous improvement projects. Collaborate closely with internal teams in R&D, sales, operations, and quality to ensure project progress. Organize regular tastings of competitive products and prepare analysis reports. Participate in special projects or other related tasks as needed.Benefits:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology (FST) or Food Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5 to 8 years of experience in food industry R&D. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Bilingualism (French and English) required, both written and spoken. Strong interest in Asian food products. Culinary training (an asset).
