This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the specialty chemical manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will assist in various research and development projects, contributing to the innovation and improvement of our products. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: + Assist in the formulation and testing of new chemical products. + Conduct literature reviews and summarize findings to support ongoing projects. + Perform laboratory experiments under the guidance of senior researchers. + Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data. + Prepare technical reports and presentations on research findings. + Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records. + Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals. Note: The duties listed above are not all inclusive and may be subject to periodic updating or revision. **The Ideal Candidate** **Desired Background** Currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field and a junior or senior. **Knowledge, Skills & Talents** More specifically, we would seek the following attributes and competencies for the position: + Basic knowledge of chemical laboratory techniques and safety protocols. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. **PAY & BENEFITS** The starting rate for this position is $25/hr.
